For what it's worth I do want to point out that at the top of this very page here there are tabs that say "teach." (There are also other tabs like "software," and things that are related to Raspberry Pi but are not Raspberry Pi) It's sad when someone has the opportunity to "teach" someone else but instead just dismisses them to another forum.
After I figure out the issue, I will do a follow up post, in case you haven't figured it out yet yourself. This is a new setup for me using kali on the zero so I have only booted it a couple time but I'm pretty sure that it was auto connecting to my wifi network before I changed the configurations to enable autologin. I have kali linux on a raspberry pi w zero and I enabled autologin. If you want 'professional' help there is a Wanted subsection where seagulls in search of payment will swoop at the sniff of a sardine. Some may consider their time precious too. The majority of assistance in these forums is offered by volunteers from all sorts of backgrounds offering free advice and support in their own spare time. But of course that is boringly mainstream and lacks the cachet of running a Penetration Testing system. If your time is precious that might be a productive way forward.
